///Strap + lens cover DIY

For my upcoming trip I’ve decided to leave the Praktica’s case at home to travel lighter. But of course something had to be done to keep the camera easy to carry and as protected as posible. So I took an old Holga strap, which was very thin, and sew it a cover with a sturdy material to make it more comfortable for the neck – the camera must be almost 1kg with lens included. I had already sewn a lens cover for my Tamron 24-135mm a while ago because I always take my EOS naked wherever I go. This time the cover had to fit several M42 lenses, so I made it adjustable. And knowing how absentminded I can be sometimes, I added a little safety button on the strap to attach the lens cover if I take if off the camera so as not to lose it. The Praktica is ready for the trip now! All that remains is finishing the camera bag. Update coming soon.
